When we arrived Bamenda we had no body to stay with so we used the money that was given to us by the Good Samaritan to pay for a room that cost 7000frs. We had nothing to put in the house, no pot, no matrass to sleep on. My children and I slept on the floor and the balanced of 3000frst that was given to us by the good Samaritan, I used it to buy eggs and boiled and started selling it.
With this we were able to eat for some few days. Where I got the room, I met a beneficiary of UIVPIC, who took me to one of their workers. She invited me to their office and that same day, she gave me 5000frs that I used to get fresh groundnut and started selling again after I had run out of business. So, when I went to UIVPIC office, I was help with the sum of 100, 000frs that helped me to get matrass, go to the hospital for my ANTI NATA control, paid my land lady for some few more months and invested the rest into my business.
I really want to appreciate UIVPIC and thank God, I never knew I could smile again after all that which has happen to me and my family. But you people have put smile on my face.
